system unresponsive and the e-mail inbox window does not refresh after overlayed with another window
After I login to AOL Desktop gold the AOL system is hanging and unresponsive for about 30 seconds before it becomes responsive again. Also when I click on read e-mail the AOL desktop system becomes unresponsive again and hangs for about 30 seconds before email displays. It does not appear the e-mail has been refreshed. ALso when I open an email to view the contents and then close the email, the email inbox listing screen contents is wiped and not refreshed automatically after it is overlayed with another window. I would like to have the ability to pin and re-arrange browser tabs.

AOL has been out for many years and pretty much looks the same. AOL Desktop Gold needs a new updated look, make it look like something from 2024, not 2010.

Clear up your junk or update your software
I have b subscriber since 1994 but I am ready to cancel. The service is super slow!!! Constant blue spinning wheel and shows (not responding) on the tab. Who needs this aggravation? I have been a Geek Squad member for years, too, and f have tune ups done to my computer. That helps a little but AOL goes right back to super sluggish right away. If I am already signed in to AOL and I am reading the comments attached to a reply by AOL to a suggestion I made why am I required to log in again? AOL knows its me. AOL wrote to me. Are you brain dead?

Stop adding USELESS features to the bottom of the home screen like boxes with stocks, weather, etc.
Instead of adding boxes that clutter up the bottom of the home screen that users may not even want, why don't you spend your time bringing back USEFUL features like being able to see the entire email address of senders in mail when you put the cursor over it. That was one of the most helpful features that AOL used to have. How do I get rid of those ugly, useless boxes with weather, stocks, etc.?

Invalid flagging of positive factual comments yet allowing lies and hateful rhetoric! ! !
I will continue to challenge you all to develop an Algorithm that doesn't flag comments that are direct and to the point and are also very factual. With AI, you all ought to be able to prevent some of the personally attacking, malicious, and hateful comments that appear not to be flagged and allowed to be posted. Please change Desktop Gold so that I can clear All my browsing history including anything from AOL
I believe in the "If its not broke...do not fix it" so my idea is for your engineering techs to take it back to what it was so that when I want to clear my browsing history everything goes away. I delete it by going to Settings then Privacy and then clear footprints and it ask for me to clear foot prints now. 6th rankedThe items you are seeing are actually being populated from your favorite places items. We received a lot of feedback from users that wanted to see the URL bar suggest items from users favorite places when they were typing.
That said, we understand the confusion of being able to see items in your browser URL drop down list after you have cleared your browser history, so we are making steps to correct this in a future release so that after you clear your browser history, you will no longer see any items in the URL drop down list.
